The defining elements in the design of the Cross Table are simplicity and essence. To simplify means to reduce costs, processing, assembly and finishing times. The aesthetic quality of the table comes as immediate consequence of the manufacturing technique employed, in which the laser cut defines the lateral sections by burning the edges of the plywood, evoking the archetypal shape of a table. It is built by laser cutting a single sheet of plywood with minimum wastage, and sent in a flat package. The table is assembled without any glue or screws, but rather with simple snap fits.
